SafeLink wireless - most rugged compatible phones?
2004年2月21日 · My friend has SafeLink (welfare cell phone) It is pretty junky. I want to buy him a better phone. What is the must rugged phone that will work with the SafeLink SIM? I know it must be a Tracfone. Will the SIM work in any Tracfone?

2024年6月21日 · This happened even though it was at a time when Safelink (Tracfone) said they were switching customers to Verizon service. The phones that I and my friend had were unlocked Tracfone devices. When I got the SIM card I immediately contacted Safelink customer service to get activated on the Verizon service.
Safelink BYOP/Smartphone: CDMA or GSM LTE sim card?
2012年1月9日 · On Facebook Safelink says BYOP phones must be compatible with CDMA LTE sim cards. But Tracfone says their BYOP/Smartphones are compatible with ATT, T-mobile and Verizon unlocked phones. See here. (I am in Seattle.) ATT is GSM, T-mobile is GSM, Verizon is CDMA (but I don't think they use SIM cards.)

2016年12月31日 · Just finished the last application online a few days ago. As of today, all were approved. Safelink has already sent shipping confirmation emails for the SIM cards for some of them. All of them will be using them in unlocked iPhone SE.(work fine for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) Does Safelink use AT&T or T-Mobile for new BYOD users?

I know people on here have used Tracfone, Total Wireless, and Straight Talk phones on PagePlus without unlocking the phone. I have took Total Wireless and Tracfone phones to Straight Talk, and Tracfone phone to Total Wireless without unlocking them.

2014年4月25日 · When you change phones, all of your account information just switches to the new equipment. Of course, you have to provide Safelink with all the new serial numbers so they can do the switch. Also, you might have to go to code entry mode and punch in some codes. That is usually the part that gets on my last nerve, but it goes with the territory.

It says it is the Alcatel A464BG and it appears to be a Net 10 Handset, specifically the Alcatel One Touch Pixi Glitz for the California Safelink Program.

2017年7月25日 · SafeLink Wireless btw is also giving 5GB extra data for both March and April as part of their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Added: now they are also giving unlimited talk and text till end of April. My friend did receive 5GB extra for March for a total of 8GB.
