It's virtual, that means the video isn't generated by a physical device but by some piece of software, but it implements the webcam API for Windows, so it's showing up as webcam. That's the purpose of the whole thing. It's installed by the OBS installer.

2017年9月24日 · When I go into my sources, and add a "video capture device", the device is colored red, as well as the FPS and the Video Format. OBS can see the webcam, but it doesn't let it work. I also have the same problem with my other recording software (Mirillis Action!), but the webcam works fine when I test it in my Logitech Gaming Software.
