2015年6月23日 · I bought a brand new LG 55EC930V from a "local" shop. It worked fine when I left the shop but we cracked the screen when mounting it on the wall. I have claimed a new one on my house insurance and it will arrive tomorrow. However, I'm sitting with the broken one too. Can anyone recommend a provider / fitter of replacement screens.

2020年7月28日 · LG refused to cover it, the repair was going to cost more than I paid new, so I replaced it with an 65" QLED Samsung to stop the bleeding. It's still here sitting in the Samsung box, just wonder if there is any hope of the replacement screen price dropping (it was $1600 in July according to the repair guy).

LG TV screen - crack/“impact” damage - AVForums
2019年10月3日 · Yesterday I turned on my TV to see a crack and distortion on the top right corner of my screen. I phoned the place I bought the TV from and they sent an engineer out who immediately said it was impact damage. I know for sure nothing has hit that screen, I watched it a few hours earlier and was alone in house during the elapsed time.

2023年10月24日 · Anyway - TV dead, covered by a 5 year LG extended warranty via Domestic and General. Booked in for repair on 11th Sept with an outfit called VIEW-TEC SERVICES LIMITED based in Chesterfield, just a one man band afaict. Returned with a new main board fitted (I was told) on 16th Sept. initial setup completed and TV 'working' So far so good...

2015年8月23日 · The TV was plugged in and confirmed to give a picture. The the rear plastic cover and screws were replaced. This took a few tries to get it to fit correctly. The TV stand was then re-fitted and the TV was stood back on the side board. Finally a few more checks were made to confirm that the TV was fully operational.

2019年12月4日 · HI, I also bought an LG OLED55C7 from Currys at the end of April 2018. The TV started to show a dark greyish, green band in the bottom left hand corner of the screen about 4 months ago that steadily became worse. Shortly before Xmas 2019, the same sort of band started to appear right across the middle of the screen.

2014年12月7日 · Got a new LG 22" TV yesterday (LG22MT44) and there was protective film over the stand and the edges of the screen but I am not sure if there is any over the screen itself. There does not appear to be any loose edges but if you look closely there appears to be some kind of covering.
