2022年7月9日 · No, the lens ring is black as pictured on a Silver X100V. There's a front ring that screws on there that is missing from your picture. What happens is when the front ring is removed and an adapter ring is screwed on for a filter (or weather sealing) it'll end up scratching off that black paint coating.

2022年10月30日 · I notice the black version of the X100V can scratch fairly easily so you can see the brass colored body underneath the paint job. Does the silver version scratch easily as well and does the silver version also have a brass body or is it silver underneath?

2022年1月30日 · For those who've owned one for some time now, how durable has the finish/paint been? Are you noticing many scratches or other cosmetic wear? I've seen claims that the silver finish may hold up better, but am torn because my closeup vision is poor and I find the white on black text and markings easier to see than black on silver.
Is this the lens coating coming off the edge of the lens?
2024年10月27日 · Remember you will have no AF, no feedback of aperture and will need to stop the lens down manually. That all said vintage lenses are a bargain and you can get a very good lens for not much money. For example I paid £15 for a Carl Zeiss Jena 135mm f/3.5 lens in m42 fitment and it is pin sharp even wide open.

Within a few minutes I noticed that some of the black paint has worn off of the textured focus ring. I had not scratched or knocked it at all and suspect that it may even have been like this out of the box but I didn't notice until later in the day.

2020年8月5日 · I believe that the top plate is Mg/alloy. The top plate has a sharp edge - which will more prone to this issue. Paint doesn't provide much protection against this. While it really crappy that this appeared in a couple weeks - there is a reason Fujifilm went to a Ti alloy top plate and offered a hardening coating (Dura Tech) for protection.
