Audio streaming platform Spotify said it has removed a podcast from influencer Andrew Tate for violating the company's policies.

The music streaming platform received criticism for keeping the show for as long as it did.

Andrew Tate’s podcast titled “pimping hoes degree” has been removed from Spotify following reported complaints from internal staff at the platform, as well as a petition which has garnered tens of thousands of signatures.

Andrew Tate’s podcast has been removed from Spotify after several complaints from both employees and an online petition garnering 92,000 signatures. The misogynist influencer has been de-platformed by both YouTube and TikTok previously.

A petition calling for Spotify to remove the courses is picking up steam on the Change·org website, with nearly 33,000 signatures at the time of writing. The petition was launched by Renee Chopping, a trauma counsellor who works with survivors of sex trafficking.
