With Duke trailing, star freshman Cooper Flagg suffered a scary-looking ankle injury and left the game. Flagg was later spotted in a wheelchair before eventually returning to the bench, although he didn't play the entire second half. Duke ended up defeating Georgia Tech, 78-70, in the ACC Tournament.

Auburn star forward Johni Broome -- the other frontrunner for National Player of the Year -- had a similar injury to Flagg earlier in the season that Pearl brought up on SEC Network. Broome suffered an ankle sprain in Auburn’s win over South Carolina in January, causing him to miss two games.
