Following a three-game road stretch that was sandwiched around the NHL’s three-day holiday break, the Capitals return home for a three-game homestand, the team’s longest in two months.

The question is why there hasn’t been something like a Guardian Cap used in the NHL. These Caps were designed especially for an NFL helmet, so why couldn’t we get something like that for NHLers?
